Join us for an exciting evening of patriotic celebration and live entertainment! Within walking distance of The American Club, the Ravine Park event is the best place to celebrate our independence. Admission is complimentary.

Elkhart Lake Triathlon

This popular event returns to Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin for its 16th year! With three triathlons to choose from, this well-organized race draws thousands of competitors, plus spectators, to the western edge of Sheboygan County, The Osthoff Resort and the shores of beautiful Elkhart Lake. EOS, SUP n’ Surf

Sheboygan has a long surfing heritage and stand up paddle boarding (SUP) is now a big part of it. As part of the WPA Sanctioned Midwest SUP Series in Lake Michigan, this event will be hosted at Sheboygan’s North Beach. Fun for the whole family, beginners to the true athlete. Check back for details as they unfold.

Day #6 June 25 @ Elkhart Lake’s Road America

Tour of America’s Dairyland  (June 19-29)

The sixth year of this competition will travel to 11 Wisconsin communities, visiting Elkhart Lake on day #6. A legendary getaway, Elkhart Lake is nestled in the heart of Wisconsin’s gorgeous Kettle Moraine State Forest. Where fun and relaxation meet beautiful scenery and friendly people. Unwind or windup with nightlife, recreation (like cycling!) and attractions. The race will take place in Elkhart Lake at the historic Road America racetrack, all 4.084 miles and 14-turns of it, which celebrates 60 years of car racing in 2015.  Elkhart Lake is a lively, lakeside village. Proceeds will be used to create a Behavioral Health Wellness Center for Sheboygan County.

August 9

Full Moon 1/2 Marathon & 5K

The 1/2 Marathon is a wonderful run attended by hundreds of runners each year.  The course is a point to point route with an overall downhill elevation and is set almost entirely on the paved Old Plank Trail bike path.  Portions of the course feature rolling hills but many runners have set PR’s on our course.

Subaru Tour de Road America Bike Ride to Fight Cancer

Ride the legendary Road America race track in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.  Take 14 turns with hilly, sweeping corners in an exhilarating but safe environment. This ride is a life-changer! Visit Road America and Elkhart Lake for more information about two very special attractions in Sheboygan County.

Lake Street Run at Elkhart Lake, WI

Cost: $15 advance/$20 day of race

Annual Lake Street Run for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Sheboygan County & the Elkhart Lake/Glenbeulah Athletic Association. 5-Mile and 2-Mile Run/Fitness Walk and Children’s Games. Registration 7:30 a.m. Race begins at 9 a.m. Held at Siebkens Resort in Elkhart Lake.

AODA Triathlon

Back at Lakeview Park on Random Lake, the triathlon includes a 1/4 mile swim with plenty of buoys to guide your way, a 16 mile bike course that heads out of the park and onto the roads through the Kettle Moraine area. The 5K run is also on the open road outside the park.  It will be an out and back run with water stations along the way!

September 20

14th Annual Maywood Earth Ride

This ride is a tour, NOT a race nor competitive event. We encourage riders to take their time and enjoy the great outdoors! Five scenic routes of 12, 25, 50, 70, 100 & 112 miles. Helmets are required throughout the ride. Your registration fee includes continental breakfast, rest stops with snacks and sport beverages, SAG and maintenance service, lunch, goody bag, and post-ride activities. Prizes for pledge raisers. Tough Mudder at Elkhart Lake’s Road America

One of the most intense endurance challenges is coming to Road America September 6 & 7, 2014. Tough Mudder, a 10- to 12-mile obstacle course challenge that involves diving into ice-cold water, crawling through mud and running through bursts of fire, will make a stop in Sheboygan County.People are encouraged to form teams and start together. Harvest Fest 1/2 Marathon & 10K

Starting, finishing, and running along Lake Michigan’s shoreline, the Harvest Fest Half Marathon and 10K provides a course and venue you will enjoy and remember. Beginning and ending at Harbor Centre’s Blue Harbor Resort, you will take in some of the most scenic views of Lake Michigan on your way to and from the turnaround at Kohler-Andrea State Park.  After enjoying the race and post-race party, head across the river to Harvest Fest for more family fun!

Road America Run/Walk for American Cancer Society

Enjoy a autumn walk in the hills of the Kettle Moraine State Forest. Elkhart Lake’s Road America and its 4-mile race track provide beautiful scenery for this event.
