Come cheer on the Greenbush Dead Citys vintage base ball team as they defend their home turf against another historic team, playing by the rules of 1860. Following the game, fans will be invited to join team members in a rousing pick-up game. Included with general admission to Wade House. Game time is 1:30 pm.

Celebrate your Independence in Elkhart Lake. The Volunteer Fire Department does a BANG UP! job with its picnic Friday through Sunday at Elkhart Lake Fireman’s Park and Beach, fireworks display on the lakefront Friday evening (rain date is Saturday), and Sunday parade starting at 11:30 am. The UW Marching Band will participate in the parade and perform its 5th quarter in the park. Make it a July 4th tradition with family and friends. Friday evening features live music by The Toys. On Saturday night, enjoy music by Road Trip. After Sunday’s parade, The Jerry Schneider Band will be playing your favorite polkas.
13th Annual Elkhart Lake Triathlon takes place on June 11, 2011 when it hosts the USA Triathlon’s 2011 Regional championship – Midwest Region. Due to this designation, the organizer – Elkhart Lake Multisports Inc. – anticipates 1100 participants – up from the 885 who registered in 2010. Watch for developing details on the website.
