      It’s fair time!   Thursday, August 28th through Monday, September 1st, the Sheboygan County Fairgrounds in Plymouth comes alive with animals, shows, rides, good food, vendors and fun for all ages.  Over 16,000 exhibits.  The Fairgrounds are on Fairview Dr./CTH O in Plymouth (Hwy 23 to Fairview Dr., OR Eastern Avenue to Fairview Drive.  The Fair opens Thursday, August 28th at noon; Friday, August 29 is Senior Citizen Day ($1 discount on admission for ages 62+).  Don’t miss Hedrick’s Racing Pigs, the All-American Lumberjack Show or Grandpa Cratchet!  Daily schedules are available on line at www.shebcofair.com - or pick up a complete schedule of 2014 Sheboygan County Fair activities at 647 Walton Drive (the Plymouth Chamber office) or at a number of locations in Plymouth.   Call  920-893-5751 (the Fairgrounds) to order tickets for any of the grandstand shows or for more information.

    2. Tough Mudder Event at Road America (all-day) @ Elkhart Lake Road America
      Sep 6 – Sep 7

      One of the most intense endurance challenges is coming to Road America September 6 & 7, 2014. Tough Mudder, a 10- to 12-mile obstacle course challenge that involves diving into ice-cold water, crawling through mud and running through bursts of fire, will make a stop in Sheboygan County.
