    1. Plymouth – Paint The Town en Plein Air @ Plymouth Arts Center
      9:00 am – 9:00 pm

      The Plymouth Arts Center invites Wisconsin artists to participate in a week-long outdoor painting (plein aire) event in historic Plymouth.   The event begins Thursday, September 18th and runs through Friday, September 26th.  Registration fee is $40 per person for any or all of the days of the event.  All proceeds will benefit the Plymouth Arts Center, a 501 c (3) organization.   Cash awards will be given in a number of categories.   On Friday, September 26th, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. there will be an Opening Exhibit and Reception, the awards ceremony and a silent auction.  The public is invited to this reception – admission is free!    For more information, call 920-892-8409, email info@plymoutharts.org, or log onto www.plymoutharts.org.

    1. Civil War Weekend – Wade House (all-day) @ Wade House Historic Site

      The Wade House hosts the annual Civil War weekend on Saturday, September 27th (9 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and Sunday, September 28th (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).    There will be a skirmish and battle both days, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.   Enjoy Civil War music; explore a soldier’s life in camp and, as part of your entry fees, tour the Wade House property!   Plenty of food and beverages will be available.  Visit www.wadehouse.org for details, or call 920-526-3271.   Site open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m  Wade House is located in Greenbush, 5 miles west of Plymouth, just off Highway 23.  The new Visitor Center is just past the County Road T (look for the firehouse) entrance into Greenbush.

    3. Harvest Fest 1/2 Marathon & 10K (all-day)

      Starting, finishing, and running along Lake Michigan’s shoreline, the Harvest Fest Half Marathon and 10K provides a course and venue you will enjoy and remember. Beginning and ending at Harbor Centre’s Blue Harbor Resort, you will take in some of the most scenic views of Lake Michigan on your way to and from the turnaround at Kohler-Andrea State Park.  After enjoying the race and post-race party, head across the river to Harvest Fest for more family fun!
